LCI, a multi-site manufacturing, distribution, retail and E-Commerce, company is seeking a Director, Capture Management to join our team.


DESCRIPTION: The Director of Capture Management is responsible for managing an LCI business capture program to support LCI’s growth objectives. This position will identify new business opportunities, prepare, organize, and execute a Capture Strategy. The Director of Capture Management will be responsible for managing and aligning Capture Management and Contracts Management, insuring LCI is strategically positioned with the necessary item portfolios and contract vehicles to support the efforts of LCI sales teams.  The Director of Capture Management will have direct supervision of the contract management team, responsible for maintaining existing contract compliance and supporting business development efforts.  The Director of Capture Management must have the Ability to organize and direct a team of peers to a desired result within a matrix corporate structure. Requires the ability to coach and manage within a growth oriented environment while building and directing the necessary team structure to support a complex capture program aligned with corporate objectives.  Capture Responsibilities.  and recommend to senior management new potential business to pursue utilizing relationships, research, or feedback loops from multiple sources.  Develop long range strategic plans for the business opportunity being considered for development.  Prioritize opportunities based on LCI’s core mission and strategic goals.  Develop and continually improve processes for making “go” “no go” decisions.  Develop LCI’s go to market strategy capture plan for each opportunity evaluating all resources required to pursue along with resource level impacts.  Organize and direct the defined capture team providing clear deliverables and timeline required for successful proposal submission.  Successfully  onboard  business by managing the transition of the new business opportunity from  proposal to operational execution utilizing a systematic approach insuring all stakeholders are appropriately engaged .  Direct the cross-functional development of new structures or processes required to support the new business.  Recommend and assist in the development of new support systems that may be required to support the new line of business.  Direct the Contract Management department insuring existing contracts are maintained and LCI remains in compliance.  Identify opportunities to grow sales through existing contract vehicles. Identify and oversee the development of new contract vehicles that positions LCI for growth into new markets.  Work with VP of Sales to insure sales staff are trained on contract vehicles in order to maximize potential sales outreach.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in a moderate office environment. The employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk and use hands. 

QUALIFICATIONS: Solutions oriented and entrepreneurial focused with the ability to develop strategic plans aligned with corporate goals independently with limited direction.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  An undergraduate degree from an accredited university or college. A minimum of 7 years of experience required.  Commanding knowledge of  the government procurement process from beginning to end a must.  Ability to consume data from multiple sources and develop a strategic direction that aligns with LCI’s corporate growth goals.  Entrepreneurial thinking with systems integration a must.  Ability to see the big picture and predict customer procurement direction.  Good team building skills with the ability to place the teams accomplishments ahead of individual accomplishments.  Ability to create solutions to complex procurement problems.  Ability to organize and direct a cross-functional team into execution of strategically focused projects.  Ability to coach and mentor staff.  7 years program management or equivalent experience managing complex projects that.  Required independent thought and cradle to grave development of an idea through development, into execution.  Quick learner focused and enthusiastic about LCI’s mission
